It is made up of a long, gracefully draped piece of material (typically 5 to 9 yards long), with one end pleated and tucked into the waist and the other end draped over the shoulder. Saris are beautifully adorned with elaborate embroidery, decorations, and borders, and

they are available in an array of fabrics, colors, and patterns.

2.Salwar Kameez

In North India, especially in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, ladies traditionally wear salwar kameez. It is made composed of a long tunic (kameez or kurta), baggy pants (salwar), and a scarf ( dupatta) that is thrown over the shoulders. Salwar kameezes are available in a variety of styles, ranging from plain and informal to highly embroidered and adorned for formal events.

3.Lehenga Choli

Women typically dress traditionally for weddings, festivals, and other joyous occasions, such as the lehenga choli. It is made up of a fitted blouse called a choli, a flared skirt called a lehenga, and a scarf called a dupatta that is worn over the head or shoulder. Men in Kerala and Tamil Nadu wear traditional clothing called mundu and veshti, respectively. They resemble the dhoti, although they're usually made of cotton and are white or off-white in hue. Vestits are worn with a pleated fold in the front, whereas mundus are worn like sarongs, wrapped around the waist and tucked in.
